1. A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations. Kate L. Turabiain. The Univesity of Chicago Press, 7th Edition, 2007.
A very good book that, in my personnel view, it must be read by students before they begin their graduate work. Beyond topics of how to write, this book has an introduction of how to think about research.
